Rocky Mount Academy, like most independent schools, does not receive federal, state, or local government funds. Therefore, it is financed largely by tuition and fees then supplemented by donations and endowment income. We recognize that paying for education is always a sacrifice for families, but it is also one of the best investments that a parent can make in a child's future.

Financial Assistance

RMA's financial assistance program is designed to ensure that no qualified applicant is denied admission due to financial need. Beginning in first grade, tuition assistance is offered annually to eligible families while funds remain available.

The Board of Trustees is dedicated to helping families bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and their ability to pay, recognizing this as an investment in the future of both the student and the school.

Families demonstrating financial need, as determined by (SSS), may qualify for up to 75% tuition assistance through RMA's financial aid program. The application process opens each February, with awards granted on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
