PARTY POLITICS

Well, we're in good hands if the 8th grade Civics students ever rule the world!  They have worked on a political parties long term project in Civics class.  They were divided into parties, and each student performed a role, from Presidential candidate to State Chair.  The morning after our local elections, they held a convention and presented their platforms and planks.  Wow!  They've solved the war, fixed illegal immigration, put in for a pay raise for their teachers (always the thing to do when you're fishing for a good grade), and one party even wanted to revive the ERA (who's old enough to remember what that stands for?).

Here are some pictures from the fun.  Click to enlarge.
