Were it not for music, we might in these days say, the Beautiful is dead. ~Benjamin Disraeli

To study  music is to learn self-discipline. ~ D. Ezzard

"Oh, let us always have a mountain within our soul with a peak so high that we never quite reach the top...for then we always strive for greater things and will not be content with merely climbing hills."  Rodale

Brief Biography
Now in my fourth year at RMA, I am very happy to be a part of this nurturing educational environment where the arts are so important to the development of the complete child.

I directed the Vocal Music and the I.B. Music/Music Theory programs at Beddingfield High School in Wilson County for 32 years. I hold a BME degree and a MM degree from East Carolina University.  For many years I played professionally in "rock bands" throughout the South as well as in the state of New York.

I encourage our students  to take advantage of the musical opportunities offered at this great school.
