Brief Biography
I have had the pleasure of working at Rocky Mount Academy since 2002. I teach Spanish levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. I am currently the Department Head for the Foreign Language program.
I am a graduate of McGill University, Canada, where I earned a B.A. in Hispanic Studies (double Major Latin American and Spanish Literature), with a minor in Fine Arts education. I consider myself a "Latina at heart" and love sharing my passion for the Spanish language, its people and culture with my students. In my free time I love to work in the garden, watch movies, breed birds and read.
I have had the good fortune to have lived in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Florida, California, and Quebec and Toronto in Canada (not in that order) In 2002 my husband, two sons and I were delighted to have the opportunity to relocate to North Carolina. |
