I am extremely excited to be teaching at Rocky Mount Academy. I received my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie and my master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have always enjoyed learning and I hope to convey my enthusiasm to my students.
I try to create a comfortable, positive, and open classroom environment. I allow time everyday to address any questions or concerns the students may have about an assignment or a topic we covered. It’s important that the students feel comfortable to ask questions and to recognize when they should ask questions.
Outside of the classroom, I am involved with coaching the cross country team, as well as, the middle school boys’ basketball team.
